What does the stack check actually look at?
Only pages your site already serves to anyone: your home page, the links on it, your checkout or pricing pages, common subdomains such as watch. or ondemand., and your sitemap. Nothing is logged into, nothing private is touched, and every finding comes back with the URL it was read from so you can check it yourself.
Why does it matter if my stack is split across several vendors?
A split stack means one brand paying two or three separate bills, with subscribers, merch buyers and readers held in separate systems that do not know about each other. You cannot see that a subscriber also bought a T-shirt, and you cannot email your readers as customers. Consolidating is usually the largest single saving available to a streaming operator.
Do I have to give an email address to see the result?
No. The result appears on screen as soon as the scan finishes. An email is only needed if you want the written breakdown and a migration estimate sent to you.
How long does a check take?
Between three and twenty seconds, depending on how large your site is and how fast your host responds. Progress is shown step by step while it runs.
